Experts are looking for answers to many questions regulating human behavior. They want to find out why some individuals commit crimes while others don´t . Crime research should help to make the causes of crime clearer for today´s practice and for there to be cooperation between science and practice. Bachelor thesis maps mainly the causes, motives, factors and ways of committing crime,mainly in the environmental field. Bachelor thesis describes the spectrum of criminogenic factors. In addition, it maps the personality of the perpetrator, especially from the point of view of forensic psychology, categorizes the perpetrators, gives an overview of the mental disorders of the perpetrators. In addition, it also deals with crime prevention from the content focus and according to the addressee. The bachelor thesis also presents the results of a questionnaire survey, which aims to provide not only the views of respondents on environmental crime, but also to map their awareness of the issue and their relationship to the environment.
