This bachelor thesis has been focused on the occurrence of invasive plants in Somoska locality in the Protected Landscape Area Cerova vrchovina. These species are: Aster novi-belgii L., Fallopia japonica Houtt., Impatiens glandulifera Royle, Solidago gigantea Ait., Stenactis annua (L.) Pers.. We recorded GPS coordinates, number of individuals and the size of the growth. The most common species is Stenactis annua (L.) Pers. and Solidago gigantea Ait. is the least common species. The occurence of individual species with the number of localities was recorded in maps. At the end of the thesis, we focused on the proposal to eliminate invasive plants in this area and solutions to combat with it in the future in order to preserve the original habitat as much as possible.
