Blanka Giertliová, PhD., P. 66The aim of my thesis is to analyze the usability of systems of financial indicators in the conditions of forest enterprises in the Slovak Republic. On the example of the company Lesy Slovenskej republiky, š.p. using financial indicators and other creditworthiness and bankruptcy models to try to suggest a possible improvement of the current situation and financial health of the company. The analysis is performed from the company's annual reports for the period 2009 to 2018. The analysis consists of the calculation of financial indicators (liquidity, profitability, activity and indebtedness), creditworthiness and bankruptcy models (creditworthiness index, Index IN01, IN05, IN95, IN99, ch-index and Altman index z-score) and the subsequent evaluation of the strengths and weaknesses of the business entity.According to the analysis of the systems of financial indicators in the conditions of forest enterprises, we can predict that the company Lesy Slovenskej republiky, š.p., should prosper in the coming years and achieve at least the same results as in recent years. The systems are usable, but several of the creditworthiness models, which are not very applicable to the conditions of forest enterprises, have proved to be the most problematic, as they do not take into account their specifics and the resulting values do not reflect the real state of the forest enterprise.
