The bachelor's thesis deals with determining the abrasion resistance of a pigmented surface treatment to the exterior. The pigmented surface treatment was created in two types. The first type was created as a primer and a top coat. The second type of surface treatment was created as a primer, modifier coating and top coat. Finishes were made on spruce, beech and oak wood. The abrasion resistance of the surface treatment was evaluated, in particular, the surface abrasion number was determined. The results of the work show that the modification layer of the coating film had a positive effect on the abrasion resistance and increased the abrasion resistance.
