The task of fire prevention is to create and develop conditions to ensure effective protection of life and health of persons and property values against fires. This bachelor's thesis includes knowledge of thermal imaging, which is applied in several branches of society and in fire prevention provides timely diagnostics using non-contact temperature measurement. In our bachelor 's thesis We describe the basic theory of thermovision, which includes the physical features that determine the study of temperature fields. The practical part contains examples of thermal images from measurements on selected devices. The results of the experiments are evaluated in descriptive, graphical and chart form. The conclusion of the thesis contains an evaluation of experiments and reasoning of the use of thermal imaging in fire prevention.
