The diploma thesis is focused on the issue of socially responsible innovations and on the comparison of individual retail chains in the Slovak Republic. The work consists of several parts, namely the theoretical, goal and methodology of the thesis and the practical part. The theoretical part deals with the definition of concepts and theoretical background of the problem in the field of socially responsible business, innovation process and also the evaluation of the perception of innovation through methods of measuring consumer satisfaction. Subsequently, in the practical part, the characteristics of the investigated objects are determined. The basic method for comparing given retail chains from the point of view of socially responsible innovations is the KANO model used. Based on the results of this method, recommendations and conclusions are developed within the given issue.
