Patrik Aláč, PhD., Study program: Economics and Management of Wood Processing Enterprises, Zvolen, 2020, p. 58.The aim of the diploma thesis is to optimize the selection of suppliers of a specific type of material - KVH prisms for WoodUp SK s.r.o. through the application of selected decision methods, and in this case 3 decision methods will be used, subsequently, on the basis of the selected decision criteria, the weights of the given criteria will be determined and the selection of optimal suppliers of KVH prisms for this company will be made. The aim is also to reveal possible shortcomings that may occur in the process of selecting suppliers for the company WoodUp SK s.r.o. and proposals for their solutions. The work is divided into two basic parts, and in the chapter on the theoretical definition of the procurement process in the selection of suppliers, emphasis is placed on obtaining the necessary information about decision theory, decision-making process, basic decision-making model, decision-making process or decision-making methods. The second part deals with the use of three (3) decision methods: the method of pairwise comparison for determining weights, the method of direct assignment of weights and the scoring method, for selecting the most optimal supplier for WoodUp SK s.r.o..
