The bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of production of molded plywood from the environment of the company BEKER - MP, s.r.o. When manufacturing molded plywood, it is important to follow all the rules of responsible processing. The presented work is mainly devoted to the pressing section, which represents the greatest specificity of the production of molded plywood. The first part was focused on the description and characteristics of the company. The second part was devoted to the pressing section itself, in which the individual operations were analyzed. The third part presents the issue of free formaldehyde release, based on which we created a theoretical proposal to reduce formaldehyde emissions. The last part of the work is the optimization of the number of pressing openings to the planned amount of production of shaped plywood. In this part, we calculated the results on the basis of which the company can re-evaluate investments in new press equipment.
