Financial analysis of a company reflects the quality of activities carried out by the company as well as its economic condition. On the basis of the above, it can be said that financial analysis is the basis for the correct diagnosis of not only the strenghts of individual companies, regardless of whether i tis a manufacturing or trading enterprise. The submitted bachelor topic, which was elaborated on the topic „Comparison of production and trading company on the basis of economic and financial analysis,“ is devoted to the determination of differences in economic condition of a production and trading company based on the comparison of their financial and economic analysis. The bachelor thesis is divided into three chapters of which one is theoretical and two are practical. At the end of the work there is also a model example of the merger of selected companies.
