This dissertation examines the problems of the effect of a full-area distribution of the forces and resources for deployment in the selected deployment district of the District Directorate of the Fire and Rescue Service in Rimavská Sobota. The objective was to assess the current state of the distributed forces and resources with the inclusion of Municipality Volunteer Fire and Rescue (DHZO) units in the full-area coverage of the given deployment district, and to assess DHZO capability for a selected type of deployment. Based on an analysis of the current state of the deployment district, we found that there is a need to reconsider certain critical areas, and proposed a reclassification of selected DHZO to a higher class level. The contribution of this work is a proposal of full-area coverage of the deployment district with fire and rescue units with the inclusion of Municipality Volunteer Fire and Rescue and its use in individual types of deployment. The objective of this work was achieved, although the proposed DHZO do not meet all the criteria required for their reclassification, which is also explained in the works' conclusion.
