In my diploma thesis we can see the evaluation of the results of selected climatic characteristics and their influence on the phenological manifestations of selected species of migratory birds for the period 2015 – 2019. In the diploma thesis we dealt in more detail with the migration of the bird, its strategy and the focus of the cause of birds on the wintering ground. Basic phenological manifestations of white stork, nortrem house Martin, barn swallow, eurasian skylark, common starling for example, spring arrival, grouping in flocks, and autumn departures. The observations were focused on the area of central Slovakia and climatic data are drawn from the meteorological station SHMÚ Čadca. Climatic characteristics such as total precipitation, air temperature and length of sunshine were used. The timing of individual phenological manifestations was observed and we can conclude that climatic variables such as the total precipitation and air temperature affect individual species of birds and especially the collection in flocks and autumn departure.
