The bachelor thesis deals with the very actual issue of the 21st century concerning waste and waste management. It includes typology of waste, possibilities of its recycling, methods of its treatment and also its following use in the interior. The designer should look for ideal solutions of design to ensure not only a comfortable life, but also to guide the people to be responsible for produced waste. At the same time, the problem must be viewed from aesthetic, economic, ecologic and safety point of view.„If we want to live on this planet together, we all have to be responsible for it“ K.Annan. Life, activities, living in a harmony with the effort of sustainable resources. How to reuse waste in low-cost objects? What are the issues of living in these objects? Can we consider this as an alternative healthy style of living? The purpose of this work is to think about the waste materials, their usage in interior and at the same time considering standards and current trends. What is the future of living, that a man can build by himself?
