This thesis focuses on the problem-solving of quantitative and qualitative yeld of timber. The thesis mentions the aspects that influence quantitative and qualitative yeld of timber. Basic and special methods of cutting are compared while considering the resulting timber output. Methods of calculating timber output as well as the importance of data accuracy, that enter the final calculation, are mentioned in this work. The practical part of this work presents the mentioned aspects of timber output from their field perspective. Calculated output data as well as said recommendations are summed up at the end of this thesis.
