The thesis presents results of the research aimed at the distribution and space analysis of two dragonfly species. Cordulegaster heros- species of european interest and his relative Cordulegaster bidentata. The research lasted from the year 2017 to 2019, within three seasons on water streams of Muranska planina (platau) area, Stolické vrchy (Mts.) and Revúcka vrchovina (Mts.). Obtaining of data proceeded from catching the larvae or adults of both species and identifiing altitude and short description of the habitat. Together, we recorded 168 larvaes and 7 adults. We had captured 108 larvae and 7 adults of C. heros and 78 larvaes and 0 adults of C. bidentata. We have catched C. heros on 38 spots and C. bidentata on 49 spots. C. heros were often more densed on the capturing spots. We cought maximum of 13 individuals (larvae) of C. heros on one spot. In comparison to C. bidentata, where we cought mostly one or two individuals, maximum 6 the one spot. The results confirmes that C. heros lives more in southern and in lower altitudes than C. bidentata.
