This bachelor thesis deals with the changes in soil properties at the windthrow plots in theTANAP 15 years after the event. Immediately after the calamity, 4 research plots wereestablished in the TANAP, where different kind of research was performed. The plots differedfrom each other by different management (plot extracted - processed calamity and plot notextracted - left to self-development), but also by the state in which they were (reference area -intact forest and plot later affected by fire). Samples for laboratory analyses in this work weretaken from the extracted, not-extracted and reference plots, then analyzed in the laboratory todetermine how the individual soil characteristics dealt with this disturbance after 15 years. Afterlaboratory processing, the results were statistically evaluated. The results show that there are no significant differences between the differentlymanaged plots in terms of individual soil characteristics. This means that after 15 years, different management in the area affected by the windthrow probably no longer plays asignificant role. However, there is still a noticeable difference between the individual plots inthe variability of the measured soil characteristics, especially in terms of microbial activity. Inthe area with untreated calamity left for self-development, the variability of soil characteristicsis higher than at the extracted plot and the reference plot. The lowest variability was found inthe reference area, where the stand is likely to affect the soil as a buffer.
