The aim of the Bachelor thesis is to create software for calculating the resistance of pin-type joints under transverse stress of wood-wood joints. The thesis deals with the design of joints according to the standard Eurocode 5. The division and characteristics of joints, construction materials and their characteristics, explanation of Johansen theory and an example of calculating pin-type joints according to Eurocode 5 are included in the thesis. The result of the thesis is creation of the software to speed up complex stress calculations of joints. There is also a brief demonstration of the software.
