The aim of this thesis is CNC technologies which are imported to Slovakia. They are used in timber construction industry. In this thesis history of timber structures is shortly described. The thesis talks about timber which is used for timber construction purposes and its physical and mechanical features but it also explain construction systems of timber structures. Subsequently, there are CNC machines and their constructions described, which is also topic of this thesis. The main topic of the thesis is CNC technologies which are imported to Slovakia and their comparison of their technical parameters.
