They are most often placed in big cities where the growing number of cars there is a shortage of parking spaces. The construction of these types of park lots is to save space and money. The parking lots can be opened or closed, levelled and underground. Closed are protecting vehicles from the weather conditions and most often are placed in office buildings and shopping centers. Usually they have 2-4 floors with enter and exit by ramps or lifts. Levelled are usually open to the illumination of a design that provides natural lighting and ventilation, which reduces costs and increases safety. We can meet also houses with parking lots not only for cars but also for bicycles. Characteristic materials for these buildings are steel and concrete. The combination of these materials has excellent strength properties both as reinforced concrete or interlocking steel-concrete structures. Bachelor thesis is focused on the solution of the specified administrative building consisting of a garage and its assessment of the stability of the structure during the construction of two alternatives accordance with current regulations of STN EN.
