The assignment of my final Bachelor work was a design of a breeding station for french bulldogs connected with a detached house. The estate is situated in the village of Velušovce which lies in the north-western part of Nitrianska sprašová pahorkatina to the north of the regional town of Topoľčany. I have chosen this building area because of its vast, grassy surrounding which is used by dog-breeding clubs from this region. The next reason was a magnificient view on Topoľčany castle which is a dominant of the Považský Inovec mountain range. The shape of the construction and the orientation to cardinal points were adapted to the area. Last but not least, as for the reason of my work there were also three dams lying at 8 kilometres distance. As a main building material for a construction of the house I used a brick in a combination with an iron-concrete ceiling and wood as a complementary material. A disposition of inner space is arranged with regard to a simplicity of shapes and the functional use of the space. The second above-ground level placed above the social area is cantilever edly lined and this protects the building from heating during summer. I payed attention to low-energetic standard of the building that is obvious in implementation of the composition and details of this construction work.
