The aim of my Masters thesis is the heat source design on biomass base for recreation resort in Zvolen area near Pliešovce village part Lažteky. The heat source consists of two biomass boilers of 602 kW total performance and they are situated in the separate object of boiler room, which is the part of resort area. This boiler room ensures delivery of heat for the accommodation part of building and also for the dining room with the kitchen. The heat source covers the need of heat for heating, heated water preparation and for ventilation. Except of boilers design I have occupied also with suggestion of fuel transport, its storage and accumulation tanks design. There have been designed also storage heaters, which are situated separately in belonging objects, all security devices for the correct functionality of the whole system, combined distributor and picker, chemical treatment of water, control valves, pumps, and last but not least, vent holes of chimneys and correct boiler room ventilation.
