Final thesis deals with the design of structure of a high-rise smokestack, which is designed as reinforced concrete structure. Thesis includes technical report , giving an overview of the structure, its structural solution, load-bearing system, foundation and other aspects of design. A part of thesis is also a static design of the structure, which consists of calculation of determining load cases for structural design, calculation of internal forces in structure caused by load combinations, design of concrete reinforcement and deflection analysis. Thesis also includes geotechnical design of foundation slab of the structure. The output of static and geotechnical design is processed into project documentation, including general drawing of the smokestack, foundation slab plans and reinforcement plans of main structural members.
