The graduation thesis is focused on the elaboration of the analysis of the logging-hauling technologies limiting factors. The aim of this work was to obtain the data for the analysis of the forest unit in the village Chtelnica. The content of the thesis is also a description of the limiting factors affecting forestry economics in the Slovak Republic. We focused mainly on a legislation, silvicultural systems, preparation of a logging-production processes, skidding, ground and terrain classification and providing access to forest stand. The results of the thesis are selected into a several parts. The limits of the selected territory were characterized and determinated at first. The purpose was to analyze the forest conditions and development, a terrain and mining conditions. We were proposing logging-hauling technologies for the forest unit on the basis of a obtained limiting data. Those analysis were executed on the strenght of the statistical set in the range 658 JPRL. Once a certain criteria were selected in advance a whole statistical file was filtered. Economic and social factors interlock on the conditions of the explored territory. The subject of this part of the thesis and it’s analysis are an exploration of the economic environment, an interest in working in the agricultural sector and a forestry economics support. These kinds of the restrictions do not result directly from the territory conditions, but they significantly affect a technologies in an assigned area. They result from the current political, economic and social situation in the Slovak Republic. We came to the conclusion that these limitations have the greatest impact on the logging-hauling technologies. This graduation thesis comes to a final result - an elaborated detailed analysis of the most important limits impacting logging-hauling technologies for a selected territory. The achieved findings can help to choose an appropriate technology. The second alternative is to get information and an overview of the main limitations on the choosen area.
