Dissertation thesis deals with the creation and properties of dynamically stressed glued wooden sports equipment. The scientific objective of the dissertation is to increase the knowledge of glued lamellae elements and their use in the production of dynamically stressed glued wood based sporting equipment with targeted characteristics of the final product. The scientific objective is elaborated into five partial goals. On the basis of scientific and professional literary and journal sources, the dissertation thesis presents the theoretical knowledge about the subject at home and abroad. The theoretical definition of veneer lamellar wood, various scientific knowledge from the field of modification of lamellar composites, sports equipment and historical and current development of archery bow, follow the conclusions of experimental testing, which consist of presenting the result of the tests carried out. On the basis of the results of primary and secondary analyses of lamellar wood modification and possibilities of layout organization, the thesis present the process of production of the final product – the archery bow, which was successfully tested. In the conclusion of the work, the theoretical and practical benefits of the dissertation thesis are summarized.
