Qualification degree: bachelor, Abbreviated „Bc“, Zvolen TU 2019, 45 s.The work deals with the management and monitoring of selected bird species in the National park Slovak paradise. The aim of the thesis is to characterize suitable habitats and to propose management measures, conservation and recommended monitoring methods for selected European important bird species. The work is focused on the factors of threat and possible ways of solving it. The work consists of three chapters. The first chapter describes the characteristics of the protected bird area, which is suitable for maintaining habitats of selected bird species. The second chapter briefly describes the extensions and habitats of selected bird species. In the last chapter there are described possible proposed measures, protection and use methods of monitoring already in particular species of birds. The work was written on the basis of the acquired knowledge in the above mentioned literature and also the Program of Care for the Protected Bird Territory of National park Slovak paradise for the years 2017 - 2046. The result of the work is to approach measures of bird conservation and monitoring methods for the ordinary reader as well as for the wider public and to draw attention to the decreasing status of the selected bird species along with the loss of suitable habitats and other threatening factors together with proposed solutions that under certain conditions may have positive effects on selected bird species.
