The aim of the thesis is to design a three-point hitch for a special forest wheeled tractor EQUUS 175N. In the first chapter there is an overview of universal wheel tractors and their adaptation for forestry, the current overview of the most used skidders in the Slovak republic. The second chapter is devoted to the theoretical analysis of three-point hitch, PTO and tractor stability. The next chapter describes the skidder EQUUS 175N. The following chapter deals with the conceptual design of a three-point hitch and a PTO. The result of this thesis is a design of a three-point hinge with a PTO driven by a piston hydraulic motor. A strain analysis was performed on the welded frame of the three-point hinge.
