The bachelor thesis deals with revitalization of the urban public park on Hradná ulica in the town, Komárno. The aim of the thesis is to revitalize the public space to meet the compositional, aesthetic and functional requirements of city residents, which are orientated for active and passive recreation. The thesis consists of text and graphics sections. The text section is focused on current state of solving problematic. The goals of the thesis and the methodology for its processing are set in this section. There are specific types of the issue at home and abroad, it compares the various manifestations of the problems. Methodological process of work consists of the analytical part, the architectural-landscape solution and the construction project. The graphic section consists of architectural-landscape case study and construction project. The architectural-landscape case study represents the results of the surveys regarding individual architectural, natural and territorial-technical elements. There are solutions based on this case study, in the form of variants of complex design, individual schemes and spatial image. The construction project includes a complex material and technical solution, alignment drawing of technical elements, setting and alignment drawing of natural elements in the first part. In the second part there are architectural and landscaping details of individual construction. The result of the thesis is a proposal for the renewal of urban park on Hradná ulica in Komárno. The revitalization of this urban park is a benefit not only for the locality and wider environment but also for the whole city. The location and the space of park represent underestimated potential which has to be utilized for the welfare of citizens. The result of the thesis is a contribution to improve the functionality of the space and the significant improvement of potential state of park.
