The main purpose of the bachelor thesis was to project the building Apartmány Technik nearby buildings belonging to Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava city center. Building site is situated on crossroads of Radlinského Street and Street of Imrich Karvaš, in neighborhood with National Bank of Slovakia. The site is mainly vacant, with scraggly vegetation, entry of pedestrians is not allowed. On the site and in neighborhood are some abandoned buildings prepared to the sanitation. The position of the building site is very good, with public transport available. The site has some inconveniences such as lot of noise and car parking everyvhere. The idea of the project was the creation of public space, transitional atrium where students could meet together in silent enviroment. The object has five floors and underground parking. New building is situated in the middle of the site so there is lot of empty space around the building connected with atrium. In parterre, cafe, reeding room are available open to the atrium . Student accommodation with gallery is on third, fourth and fifth floor. The building should create more space for pedestrians without traffic noise.
