The submitted work deals with the revitalization of Námestie Hraničiarov in the city part Petržalka -- Bratislava. The idea of the revitalizatiton is to create a functional area while providing aesthetics. The revitalization reorganizes the area according to type of a function it provides. The revitalization ambition is to create a space for relaxing and meeting for every age category. The work consist of a text part and a graphic part. The text part deals with the current situation and its problems, setting of the thesis object and a thesis mthodology description. The problematic situation characterizes 6 examples of solving the problem abroad and in Slovakia. Methodology involves the procedure of processing the analytic part, architecturally-landscape solutions and project construction. Graphic part consist of architecturally-landscape studies and project construction. Studies compromise the analytic part of a reseraches, analysis and identification of the area. The result of the analysis is architectural-landscaping solution, which is defined by two diffrent concept solution variants. One of the selected variant provides complex landscapearchitectural design outlining all aplied elements. Complex design is supplied with schematics, designs of a chosen details and area views. The construction project includes two parts. First part consists of a komplex material and technical solution and the second part deals with architectural and landscape details. The aim and the result of a given work is a revitalization design of a Námestie Hraničiarov in Petržalka, city part of Bratislava. Redesign and personification of the high potential area to the area for active and passive rest is beneficial not only for the residents of the surrounding area but also for the whole city part. This revitalization also contribute to the high quality of the environment we are living in.
