Mečár, Tobiáš: Turkeytail fungus Trametes versicolor (L.) Pilát. [Bachelor thesis]; Technical university of Zvolen; Faculty of Forestry; Department of Integrated Forest and Landscape Protection; Thesis supervisor: Ing. Martin Pavlik, PhD. 2021, 57 pages. Theoretical knowledge about mushrooms is summarized in this work. The work defines what mushrooms are, what climatic conditions they need for their development and growth. He points out the importance of mushrooms for man and nature, the need to protect them. In more detail, it represents one of the species of saprotrophic fungi with biologically active substances that can also be beneficial to the human body and the ability to decompose various substances, many of which are xenobiotic, persistent, toxic, namely trametes versicolor. I would like to further use the theoretical knowledge gained about the trametes versicolor in its cultivation and subsequent processing of its fruiting bodies.
