When products and services are marked "green", this is in many cases a competitive advantage. The introduction of green business represents the possibility of creating new products and services that will be produced and provided in accordance with sustainable development, with the minimization of negative impacts on nature. The presented bachelor thesis deals with the identification of the current state of green business in family businesses in Slovakia. In addition to the identification itself, it also contains the results of a questionnaire survey, which was conducted on a selected sample of business entities. Based on the results of the questionnaire survey, recommendations for practice were proposed, thanks to which green business in Slovakia can be more effective.
