PROFANTOVÁ, Ivana: Climatic characteristics and water balance of the 2nd and 5th forest vegetation zone during the vegetation period of 2019 and 2020. [Bachelor thesis]. Technical University in Zvolen, Faculty of Forestry, Department of Natural Environment. Supervisor: doc. Ing. Katarína Střelcová, PhD., Zvolen, 2021, 80 s. The subject of the bachelor thesis "Climatic characteristics and water balance of the 2nd and 5th forest vegetation zone during the vegetation period of 2019 and 2020." contains the results of measured climatic variables, such as water pressure deficit, precipitation, potential evaporation, air temperature and global radiation. Measurements were performed at the regional meteorological stations of Technical University in Zvolen Arboretum Borová hora and Kráľová nad Zvolenom. The meteorological stations are located at different vegetation zones and altitudes. The Borová hora Arboretum station is located at 353 m above sea level, which is the 2nd vegetation zone (beech-oak), and the Kráľová nad Zvolenom station is located at 784 m above sea level, which is the 5th vegetation zone (fir-beech). Climatic characteristics in the growing seasons 2019 and 2020 are different for the different altitudes and different seasons. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to process meteorological data from selected regional stations TUZVO into overview of graphs and tables. And a subsequent comparison with the long-term average for 30 years is included.
