Thesis supervisor: Ing Petra Lesniková, PhD. Zvolen: TU, 2021. p. 80 The diploma thesis deals with tools, procedures and methods in strategic business management. The aim of the diploma thesis is to create a new strategy of the researched company. Based on a newly created strategic business unit, its strategy and implementation in the company. The first chapter discusses the search of strategic management concepts, company strategy and strategic analysis of the internal and external environment. This is followed by a SWOT analysis and finally the implementation of the strategy. The second chapter contains the goals of the thesis that we want to achieve. The third chapter contains the methodology of the work and explains what and how the research methods were used in the analytical part. The fourth chapter deals with the characteristics of the examined company ESET, followed by the identification of strategic business units, followed by external analyzes of the company, then internal analyzes of the company and concludes with a SWOT analysis. The fifth chapter deals with the implementation of the new strategy based on the influence of the original strategy by the new business unit. The result of the diploma thesis is the successful implementation of a new strategic business unit and the use of a new growth diversification strategy, which will increase the company's profit and expand to other new markets.
