The aim of the thesis is to design the construction of a kindergarten with the periphery walls according to the standard related to the passive house and compare it to the valid Slovak standard STN 73 0540. The introduction of the thesis is focused on the requirements for the internal environment of a kindergarten, specifically the requirements for the thermal, insulating properties and energy consumption. The main part of the thesis is devoted to the construction drawings and documents of the design with observing the rules set down for pre-school facilities. Moreover, the construction system with emphasis given on critical details in terms of thermal properties of a building due to the classification of a building as a passive house is proposed in the thesis.
