The aim of preparation of bachelor thesis was closer familiarization with a function of fungi with waste processing. Bachelor thesis deals with the way of life of mushrooms, their gathering of nutrients necessary for their existence, their effect on enviroment, the effect of enviroment on them and interactions with specific substances. This paper is focused on four species of mushrooms, specifically Pleurotus ostreatus, Ganoderma lucidum, Trichoderma viride and Trichoderma pleuroti. Their characteristic properties are observed in relation to mycoremediation. In the practical part, mutual interactions of said species in Petri dishes are examined.
