In this bachelor's thesis we deal with issues in the field of wood warehouses. We describe the basic division of forest warehouses, mechanization used in timber warehouses, their location, area and safety when working in timber warehouses. We also partly mention mechanization in wood warehouses. In the main part of the work we describe the expedition warehouse Čierny Váh, its location within Slovakia and the location of objects within the warehouse. We describe handling technologies within the warehouse. We describe the Baljer-Zembrod-BZ handling line in detail. In the final part, we propose measures to improve the work and conditions at the Čierny Váh expedition warehouse, such as improvements to the forest warehouse surface or the purchase of a chipping machine.
