The bachelor thesis deals with premises security measures from start of fire and the effects associated with it via detection cables. The first chapter addresses a brief description of the fire, root causes of its start and ways to prevent it. In this chapter, we also focus on electrical fire alarm, its structure and use, as well as the characteristics and distribution of fire detectors. The next chapter deals with the possibilities of fire detection, using linear heat detectors for recognition. The purpose of this work is to propose an effective way to protect the building from the consequences of fire, using detection cables. The last chapter presents specific examples of the use of detection cables in selected buildings.
