This bachelor thesis is focused on procurement and quantification of decision making processes in procurement. In the introductory theoretical part of the thesis, we decided to further characterize and describe concepts such as management, decision – making processes and methods. In the practical part of the bachelor thesis, we focused directly on the manufacturing company Witzenmann Slovakia spol. s r. o., which specifies on production of metal elements and their assembly. We described the general infromation, organizational structure, the production of metal hoses and processe, but in the first place we emphasized the issue of selection and evaluation of suppliers. In the final part of the thesis, we used an approach of a point analysis which seggests possible criteria for the company, which we believe could be useful in selecting the suitable suppliers.
