The main aim of this diploma thesis is to compare energetic effectivity of particular ventilation systems concerning the amount of heat for heating. We compare data from the family house designed by us using particular ventilation systems. In the theoretical part, there are described individual factors determining the quality of the inner environment that can be influenced by ventilation and thus provide quality inner environment. Further, there is described ventilation, particular methods of ventilation, their principles, where they are used, their advantages and disadvantages. We also mention the requirements on the inner environment concerning the decrees of the relevant ministries and Slovak technical standards, which we take into account in our calculations. We used a PHPP software for building design to make our calculations. The results of our calculations say that there is a major difference between natural and forced ventilation in terms of energy efficiency of the building. The most effective ventilation was central forced ventilation, followed by local forced ventilation and the worst results were for natural ventilation. We can state that we have fulfilled the goal mentioned above and we have acquainted the reader with the suitability of using particular methods of ventilation in construction or reconstruction of family houses.
