The purpose of this bachelor´s thesis was to work out a case study about the effectiveness of the State Forestry Administration on the example of planning in hunting. The conditions of small wild animals were analyzed on the basis of hunting statistics for individual years and hunting grounds in the Komárno district. The breeding results were evaluated for the period from 2016 to 2023. The obtained results were the basis of the evaluation of the spring population levels and their comparison with the overall decline of small wild animals, which points to their yearly decrease. At the end of this bachelor's thesis, proposals regarding hunting management in the hunting grounds of Komárno district were summarized, and it is necessary to ask the question whether the low numbers of small wild animals in the given district can be changed at all by an effective administrative procedure.
