In the diploma thesis we tried to describe the behavioral aspects of the financial decision-making process of the business owners. The main aim of this diploma thesis was to design a model to determine key, systematically occurring errors in the financial decision-making process of business owners arising from the impact of a human factor as a starting point for preventing the adoption of wrong financial decisions. In order to fulfill the main goal of the diploma thesis, it was necessary to approach the first part of the issue of behavioral finances and psychological aspects, the essence of financial management and financial decision-making, and last but not least, internal interest groups where we stressed the owners. owner of the business. In the next part of the diploma thesis we have dedicated an empirical survey to the identification of the main behavioral aspects affecting the financial decision-making process of the business owners. In the final part, after evaluating the data obtained from the empirical survey, we could subsequently design a model that will allow these systematic errors in corporate practice decisions to be eliminated. We are convinced that we have achieved the main goal of the diploma thesis and will be of benefit not only to the reader but also to the practice.
