The aim of the bachelor thesis is to find the causes and motives leading to poaching from the aspect of forensic psychology. We found out what knowledge and insights people have about forensic psychology, environmental crime and poaching. We explained the individual concepts - environmental crime, forensic psychology, poaching. What are the causes and motives from the aspect of forensic psychology. We have clarified the law of poaching, the law of hunting and the law of fisheries. Appropriate preventive measures, according to them, could help in the fight against poaching. And this by changing the legislation, visiting a psychologist various discussions on the topic of poaching. The importance of this work is to tell about poaching, environmental crime, which is not only in Slovakia but also in the world. Poaching is the most common problem of environmental crime, especially illegal interference with the exercise of hunting and fishing rights.
