Theme of the bachelor thesis is appraisal of efficiency recreational function of the forest. Bachelor thesis is focused on economic appreciation of the protective forests, by making treehouses in the treetops, eventually adjust a forest economics to be in harmony with nature’s rules by them. Also increase effectiveness of economy on the forest land in compliance with criteria of green economics and socially responsible business. Bachelor thesis applied static and dynamic methods of appraising investment project, also Hoogstra-Kleinov and Hegenveldov index of recreational role of the forest. For the analysis of the stand suitable for the construction of houses in treetops, the stand of LHC Demänová, district of Liptovský Mikuláš was selected.
