Zvolen: TU, 2021, 45 p. The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of preparation and evaluation of an investment project of selected company. The main goal of the final work is to evaluate the economic efficiency of an investment project aimed at expanding the business activities of Akinex, s. r. o, to other countries, specifically to Germany and Austria. The presented thesis is devoted to a theoretical and empirical part and contains eight graphs, nine figures and twenty-seven tables. The first chapter addresses the current state of the researched issues at home and abroad. It defines the basic terminology related to the company and its assets, investments, investment activities, evaluation of the effectiveness of investment projects and also describes the selected company Akinex, s. r. o. The second chapter specifies the goal of the final work and the third chapter is devoted to the methodology of the submitted bachelor thesis. The fourth chapter is an empirical part, it analyzes the market and the company Akinex, s. r. o, contains financial – economic analysis and also evaluates the effectiveness of the selected investment project through various methods. The conclusion summarizes the findings.
