The diploma thesis is focused on the analysis of the current state of logistics in production and registration of production capacities in the company Ekoltech Ltd. The work is divided into several parts. The first part of the diploma thesis deals with the theoretical definition of logistics, its goals, factors, logistics activities and logistics decisions, logistics systems, business and production logistics, downtime and time studies. The analysis of the theoretical base serves us as a basic for the possibulity of elaborating the following part. The second part of the thesis describes the selected company, its history, goals and strategies, characteristics of the product portfolio, organization structure, analysis of the current state and current methods used for planning as well as shortcomings of the current state. The most important part of the work in concrete calculations of production capacities, within which the usable time pool of the workplace is calculated as well as the calculation of the EOQ model. In the last part the results are evaluated and new solutions are proposed to improve the current situation in the company.
