The Bachelor thesis analyses the history, the social conditions and preconditions of the hunting archery in middle ages on the basis of available literature. The thesis paid attention to the description of the bow, archers equipment and weaponry, in particular to the properties and technical aspects of manufacturing archers equipment, as well as to the use of this equipment, including the description of the decoration and other social aspects of the possession and wearing of the equipment. The thesis is completed by pictures on the current stage of the maintaenance of the traditions on handling with equipment and weaponry of middle age´s hunter.
