Corporate culture is a reflection of the basic assumptions shared by the members of the group, which defines the group's view of themselves and its environment, as well as the way of carrying out everyday activities. In this context, the main goal of the final work is to identify gender differences in the perception of corporate culture. The first part of the diploma thesis theoretically defines the researched issues. It further defines the concept of culture, corporate culture, functions and types of corporate culture. An important part of the work is the OCAI method, which will be used in the practical part of the thesis. The subject of the second part of the work is the goal and methodology of the work. The third part of the thesis includes an analysis of the results of research, which was carried out in companies operating in Slovakia. The subject of closer examination is the perception of corporate culture in terms of gender of respondents who participated in the research. Based on the results, we can state that there are gender differences in the perception of the current level of corporate culture. While women perceive that a clan type of corporate culture is currently applied in companies operating in Slovakia, men perceive that a hierarchical corporate culture is applied. There are no gender differences in the perception of the required level of corporate culture. The opinions of respondents of both sexes agree.
