In the diploma thesis we focused on perception analysis of the circular economy by consumers. Through internet inquiries, we obtained profile data of the consumer, his habits and preferences when buying products, in context of sustainable development. Diploma thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part include starting points of the issue. The practical part is devoted to evaluation of results obtained from questionnaire survey, in which we identified the profile of specific consumers, then we analyzed their habits and preferences, and finally we focused on analysis of individual questions of the questionnaire. Based on steps taken, we found out perceptions of consumers, which confirmed that consumers prefer idea of circular concept economy, where the level of people and environment safety can be improved. Overall, we learned from analysis that consumers support principles of preserving products and materials for as long as possible in the consumer environment, thus minimizing waste and use of new resources.
