The topic of the bachelor thesis is production processes optimization in WAY INDUSTRIES, a.s Krupina. The specific objective is to propose improvement to the varnish line using simulations. In the introduction, the issue of manufacturing processes, lean manufacturing, indicators of maximum machine utilization and computer modeling and simulation issues are discussed. Next chapter is an analysis of the current state of production in WAY INDUSTRIES, a.s Krupina and analysis the varnish line. Following is a simulation model of the varnish line in Tecnomatix Plant Simulation. Further, a proposal of process optimization is performed by changing the drying chamber and then simulating the improved varnish line. The result of the design is to achieve a higher varnish line efficiency.
