Zvolen 2019, number of pages: 73 number of characters in the thesis: 13249The aim of the bachelor thesis is water resources inventory in the OR HaZZ Martin intervention area that are suitable for pumping of water needed for fires extinguishing in the natural environments. In the theoretical part, I deal with the definition of Czech and Slovak legislation terms, the definition and division of surface water, and the description of waters in the intervention area of the upper Turiec. In the practical part, hydrological data of standing and flowing waters were used, and each water source was described in terms of firefighting equipment availability, water resource capacity, access and possibility of water pumping for natural fires extinguishing needs.KEY WORDS: water source, water area, standing water, flowing water
