The bachelor thesis deals with the use of eCall to increase the efficiency of rescue after a car accident. It also includes the introduction of eCall in our country. The first part of this work deals with the characteristics of wireless communication systems and their use in the rescue area. The core of the work consists mainly of a description of the eCall system, its use, operation and introduction into normal operation. The conclusion of the work includes an assessment of the use of eCall in traffic accidents.
